Short answer
If your spouse won't sign the Acknowledgment of Service, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, 220 North Laurel Street, Bridgeton can deliver the divorce papers. You pay the sheriff's fee. Your spouse then has 35 days to respond.
What the sheriff usually needs

- 2A letter with your spouse's address and a time they are usually there. We prepare this letter.
- 3The fee, paid the way the sheriff asks (often a money order).
